Privacy policy

The Vibesies (vibesies.com) is run by Archieboy Holdings, LLC ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Your account: your name, email address and a scrambled form of your password, and how you found the site (for example, the page or link you arrived from).
• Your company page: everything you type into it, which is public once your email is confirmed: the company's name and description, your name as shown, your location and website, your team of one, your ask and your updates.
• Your revenue figure: the average monthly revenue you enter, and the earlier figures you have entered. We use it only to work out which value range your company appears in. It is never published or shown to anyone outside our small team, and never sold or shared.
• Verification: if you ask to be verified, the evidence you allow us to see (the revenue totals in your PrivateChief Books, or statements you send us). We use it only to confirm your range, record only the outcome, and delete any statements once the check is done.
• The weekly feature: if you agree to be featured, the quote and details you give us, and the release you approve.
• Cheers and messages: the companies and updates you cheer, and anything you send us, such as a story or a contact message.
• Usage: standard server logs and Google Analytics, to see which pages are used.

What is public

Your company page, your updates, your value range and milestones, whether you are verified, and any press release you have approved. Your revenue figure and your email address are never shown.

What we do with it

We use your information to run the board and your page, to send you emails about your account and milestones, and to tell you about the community spaces and the race. We do not sell your information. We may publish combined figures across many companies, such as the combined value of the race, only once enough companies have entered that no one company's figure can be worked out.

The Vibesies is presented by PrivateChief, which is also run by Archieboy Holdings. If you enter a PrivateChief workspace code, we check it against PrivateChief's records to show the badge, and, only if you ask us to, look at your PrivateChief Books to verify your range. We do not otherwise pass your details to PrivateChief's sales or marketing.

Your choices

You can edit your page and your revenue figure at any time. To delete your account and page entirely, contact us and we will do it within seven days.

Security

Revenue figures are kept in a private part of our database that no public page reads. The site runs over HTTPS only. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever learn your information was exposed, we will tell you promptly.
