Common questions about plans & billing

Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see is what you pay us. The only other cost is what you pay your AI provider (Anthropic for Claude Code, or OpenAI for Codex) directly — metered on your account, completely independent of us. We don't mark up tokens. Outbound bandwidth above your tier's cap is billed at $0.09/GB.
What about AI usage costs?
You bring your own AI account. Claude Code: if you have Claude Pro ($20/mo) or Max ($100–$200/mo), your existing subscription quota covers programmatic usage at no extra cost; or use a pay-as-you-go Anthropic API key. OpenAI Codex: pay-as-you-go via your OpenAI API key. OpenClaw: open-source CLI that routes to any provider — OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, local Ollama, anything. Use whichever model is cheapest or most capable for the task. We never see, log, or proxy your AI usage in any case.
Can I change tiers?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Annual customers can switch to a different annual plan with prorated credit.
Do you offer refunds?
Full refund within 7 days of your first payment, no questions asked. After that, we don't refund partial months but you can cancel anytime and your service continues until the end of the current billing period.
Why is annual cheaper?
Annual customers reduce our churn-and-resignup overhead and let us reserve EC2 capacity, so we pass the savings on. The 17% discount is structural — annual = 10× monthly, which works out to two months free.
How does taxation work?
All prices are in USD. Sales tax and VAT (if applicable in your jurisdiction) are added at checkout via Stripe. EU/UK customers can provide a valid VAT ID for B2B reverse-charge.
